WHY WOULD ANYONE CREATE A COMPUTER VIRUS?

I really have never figured out the point to creating computer viruses. I find it very hard to believe that there are programmers sitting around trying to think of how they can screw up other people’s computers. STAYED HOME TODAY, BECAUSE I'M SICK
