Any chance there's an easy download button around here

I would really feel more comfortable in I could download or backup my blogs that I have written over the past years... is there an easier way than cut and paste?

You never know when you stuff might just dissapear!

Enforcement of Blogit Policies

We are very careful to review reports of potential violations thoroughly and without bias towards any individual, and we do not take any action lightly.

However, due to privacy reasons, we cannot disclose all of the details publicly. As a result outside observers may see only one side of the story, so it is not always obvious why we have taken action or the exchanges we have had with the suspended member. We can tell you that in a typical situation, we only suspend an account after repeated warnings.

The purpose of the Conduct Policy is to allow everyone equal opportunity to participate on Blogit. For full details on the procedure we follow, please see the Policy Violations help page, which may be found here:

http://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Help/HelpPage.aspx?page=policyviolations

For your information, the Conduct Policy may be found here:

http://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Policies/Conduct.aspx

The Conduct Policy and the review process was created with a great deal of input from the Blogit community. If you have any suggestions on how we can improve the Conduct Policy or the review process itself, please let us know. We take such suggestions very seriously.

Again, Blogit Staff does not take actions lightly. We are keen to keep all Blogit members happy with Blogit and as paying subscribers. Suspending a Blogit subscription goes against both those goals.

Please also note that Blogit Staff cannot monitor each of the hundreds of thousands of blog posts and comments. We look to the Blogit community to email us about any posts or comments that might be in violation of Blogit’s Conduct Policy.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Blogit Team

Inconsistencies in Blogit policy

It seems inconsistent that Whamenator should be banned when there have been cases of harassment, insults, and sustained subtle and unsubtle bullying which have gone on unchecked leaving some with no choice but to stop posting.
How are we to know where we stand? Whamenator has proven herself time and time again to be a kind and vibrant member of this community.

PLEASE BRING BACK WHAMMIE

Upgrade

If I upgrade from Basic to Silver, will my present blog go kerflouey? Or is it a smooth and safe transition in which the present formatting is retained and you just get two extra blogs? I think it's the latter but I don't want to take a chance of having everything fly apart.

Featured

Does the featured section mean something? Like, someone has been going through the blogs looking for the best entries to put up on the main page? Or is it about popularity? Or just whichever most recent posts?

HTML Tables

Anyone have any idea why the HTML tables are spread out so much vertically?

Pitctures in the sidebar

I want to have some photographs put up in the sidebar of my blog, but, well, how? Putting the html tags into the text straight just gives me an A HREF="haha look at you sucka".  Is there any way of accessing the code there? Some special trick? I've seen pics up there on others' blogs...

Comments

When some one writes a comment on one of my Posts and asks a question how do I respond to that person?

I am new to this Blogit and am trying to figure out how it all works.
