Beachbelle,
We know that suspending a Blogit member is not popular with some members of the Blogit community. As we stated in our Community Help post on this topic, we usually give several warnings to Blogit members before taking action to suspend an account.
You state that “there have been cases of harassment, insults, and sustained subtle and unsubtle bullying which have gone on unchecked…”. Please let us know specific cases where Blogit Staff has been contacted by you, or others, about repeated behavior that violates Blogit Conduct policy without action from Blogit Staff.
As you know, since we cannot monitor all 1M+ posts and comments, we look to the Blogit community to alert us of problems. When notified, we follow the process outlined here:

Thank you.
Blogit Team

I noticed a link for the Philadelphia Inquirer under the area where Blogit wants you to tell of your blogit experiences. I am sure the journalist would be interested regarding "free" speech.

Beachy nice to see you, you bring up a good point
I would like to see Whammie re-instated but I have seen this to many times, their decision is usually final.
