searching

Is one able to search and find comments by certain readers or writers not just their blog entries?

Some want to make it fairer

It seems that some people, me amongst them, want to make it a little fairer for bloggers who aren't in the top ten to get clicked on.  Some of us have already mentioned that bloggers in the top 200 should be proud, but it doesn't seem to be the general case that that's the recognition.

Would it be possible to have a link or frame that shows the newest members to sign up to BN?  This would give them the opportunity for people to click on them and their blogs.  Also, if somebody adds a new blog to their portfolio, could there be a page or frame that shows new blog titles?

Finally, how come the Mature Audience section does not get new posts added to it shown in the new post section on the home page?  Even if somebody goes via the Everything Else link to Mature Audiences, you don't show the contents in the list, so the same thing could be done on the home page.  People would immediately know whether it was MA or not by the fact that the comments were restricted, and could therefore choose whether to view that post or not themselves; at the moment, people who post in MA don't get the same exposure as everybody else as nobody knows they've added anything new unless you have that blog in your favourites section.  It doesn't give them a fair opportunity to move up the ranks with that blog.

The titles in MA aren't really any more offensive than some of the titles in the public domain, so I can't see why it would hurt to make this change.

Adding chapters

I have been posting chapters into 2close encounter (fiction) and my question is: would it be better to divide the blog into part one and part two since it is getting rather unweildy to go to the bottom to start.  I have 27 chapters pre-written so I am about halfway through.  Apparently it is getting read, and I don't want to loose those that may be following the story.  I would appreciate any suggestions or comments.

How is it determined who gets in the featured blog area?

Who determines what blogs are featured on the home page? Also once you post a blog can you add to that particular blog? If you want to continue the train of thought or do you have to write a new post which is not connected to your original one?

Please help I have read the help section and am trying to figure this all out.

is this just a big chat room?

okay please enlighten me somebody....I just recently joined hoping to see some serious writing and manuscript chapters.... on here...maybe there are but from what I have seen this looks like some MIRC...chat room kind of place where people post their opinions and chat about it.

SO is this more of a chat room forum for everyday people to post a thought they had...or is it a place for people who are seriously writing and trying to improve their skills and appeal?    after all....everyone has an opinion about something.

Mature Audiences Only

So, why doesn't the Mature Audience category have a link like all of the others?

Unusual Pattern in Ranking Movements

Is it possible for a blogger to have multiple subscriptions FROM THE SAME COMPUTER? ( I imagine it will be difficult from different computers) Example: Can I sign up with ten handles and manipulate the rankings? If someone is doing this, will you be able to detect it? If someone ends up with all or a majority of the top 10, the ranking system will lose its integrity. There seems to be a pattern emerging in the past two weeks with new comers occupying strategic places in the rankings.

Question to staff

Being that I joined on the 20th of September, and it is now the 20th of October, I was trying to understand how to resubscribe, or if it is necessary to subscribe again, and if I did have enough earnings to continue writing and reading, how might I find out without losing access to my work. I did cancel my subscription thinking I probably wouldn't have made enough to continue, as I had made a bet with myself to see if I could write work that could entertain, and keep an audiance, at least slightly interested.

Thank you

I may be stupid, but I can't seem to find out how to post a comment. Will someone please clarify this for me?
