Where do I add my counter code?

I have the code to add a counter to my blog, but I don't know where to put it. I guessed that I would put it after my last link, but when I cut n' paste it there, nothing happens. I wonder if there's some more html I have to write before or after it. Here's the code they sent me:

<!--WEBBOT bot="HTMLMarkup" startspan ALT="Site Meter" -->
<a href="http://s17.sitemeter.com/stats.asp?site=s17bunnyblog" target="_top">
<img src="http://s17.sitemeter.com/meter.asp?site=s17bunnyblog" alt="Site Meter" border=0></a>
<!--WEBBOT bot="HTMLMarkup" Endspan -->

Am I Getting Paid For Everybody Who Clicks On My Blog?

     I have an interesting question and problem for the day. I have this wonderful blog on BN called "Scott's Best Original Works of Fiction". I add at least two or more new posts to this blog every day and it is becoming very popular in BN. Currently, my blog is ranked in the #1 spot in the "Fiction" catagory on BN. It is also currently ranked in the #77 spot in the Top 100 Most Read Blogs on BN. But, even though my blog is very popular with BN members, I am only earning one penny a day for people who are reading my blog. How in the world can my blog be so popular on BN if only one person is reading my blog everyday? One person alone can not send my blog to the top of the BN popularity charts just by clicking on it only once a day. Does that make any sense to you? I sometimes feel that I am not getting paid the pennies I have earned everytime a BN member clicks on my blog and reads it. So, I would like to know why I am only earning one penny a day if my blog is ranked as one of the Top 100 Most Read Blogs on BN. I know there are a lot more then just one person who is reading my blog every day. Thank you for your help!

How do I add a hyperlink to my blog?

Whim suggested this:
"If you highlight the text you want hyperlinked, then click on the insert
link icon-on my screen it looks like the earth with an arrow-a new window
will open and you should be able to type in the address you want the link
directed to."

My problem is I have no such icon. Can anyone help?

Is there a way for me to delete a comment once it has been posted?

I know how to do this from my own blogs but how do I do it when I add a comment to someone else's?

Eliminate monthly membership

I have been scouring the older blogs looking for good writing, and I'm noticing a phenomenon.   There are a number of good writers who come, blog for a month and leave - but a month really isn't long enough to attract a readership and get integrated into the network, so I think they are giving up too soon.

I would recommend that you change it to 3 months, and then optional monthly, quarterly or annual after that.   If someone can afford $5.95, they can afford $15 for 3 months - so it's not putting it out of reach of most people.  Even as a teen babysitting, I could generally come up with $15 or $20.

For examples of what I'm referring to, see: <a target=_blank href="http://www.bloggingnetwork.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/Tamara99_dustygems/">Dusty Gems</a>

Personal Ranking

I like the new look and feel of the Member Profile - makes it so much easier to see which of your blogs is your most popular one etc., but when you next do an update (whenever that might be!) would it be possible to put a little indicator in next to the rank of each of your blogs so you can see if it's gone up or down from the day before?

For example, my Bad Dad Monologues blog is 69 today, but I can't remember what it was at yesterday (I think it was 50-something).  A little arrow showing an up/down/level indicator would let BNers see whether their blog has gone up or down in popularity from the day before.

Just a thought!

THE BLOGGING NETWORK

YOU ARE GREAT!!  I have just saved 36 pages of writing that I have done here on this network.  Granted, there will be less after the titles and such are removed, but I feel that this is a great accomplishment for me to have made so much progress in my goal to write a book in ONE SHORT MONTH!!

I owe much of my effeciency success to BLOGGING NETWORK!  Thank you and God Bless you all for being such a great idea!  This medium for collecting one's ideas is absolutely FABULOUS.  And I think everyone here is having a lot of fun too - that is so important!  You get 5 smiley faces.
