Cause I'm A Dufus!!!

I missed the answers in the comments of these posts.  Disregard that last remark about not answering questions...I was having a huge brain-cramp!!  I guess you answered my other question about comments equaling clicks on a previous post, but I'd gladly read if you have more info to enlighten me with.

Thanks all at Blogit!!

Blogit Staff...

How come there aren't answers posted to these questions??  I'd like to read the posted questions and then come back to read the answers.  If you're answering only to the poser of the question, how will the rest of us glean information from this area??

I'm wondering about the "Click" count, as a previous post has questioned.  Don't the Reader Distribution Lists count reading and commenting clicks?  I mean if I read a post Ariala writes she gets a click, if I comment after reading she gets a second click.  Is that the way it works or do comments not count as a click.  Sometimes my click count on the RDL seems inflated and I've thought it was because I commented on some but not on others.  Please post a simple explanation as to how the reading/commenting works to deliver clicks, the majority of the Blogit community seems to be confused on this point.

Thanks for the time...

The comment section

There seems to be a thought out there that posting a comment to someones comment section gives them "credit" just like reading their posts. I was under the impression that $$ gets doled out according to your distribution list only and that leaving a comment, while nice (or mean), is outside of the process. I am right, right?

Just a friendly suggestion... :)

Hi. New here to BlogIt. :) I've noticed that even if I use my own template for my blog, the big bar at the top with the Blog it logo is still there. Quite distracting when I load the page... and it threw off the template design, besides.  I switched back to the default layout, even though I'd much perfer to use a template.

I am 110% willing to link back to Blog It. It seems to me, however that at $5.95 a month, one should be free to set up the blog in any format desired, without having the BlogIt logo show up in the top 1/4 of the page. I know of several sites that charge the same price as this one, without forcing their users to retain a big company logo at the top of the page. They simply request that their users provide a link back to the home site—discreetly, which does not detract at all from the design of the blog.

I'm sorry if there is a way to do this that I just didn't know about. :) I think this is a great site and I'm looking forward to blogging here.

I'd like to see a spell checker here. I'm not the only one.

Adding links

If I wanted to add a link to a private email message for a subscriber on Blogit, how would I do that?  There's no toolbar for the email like for writing a post.

What is your process for dealing with plagiarism?

We have a user who has blatantly stolen several pieces of writing from offsite authors and attempted to pass them off as his own.  I have sent you links to the original work as well as his blog post, which he has since deleted.

Not asking for specifics as to what you have done with him - just what your general process is and what we, as the honest users of Blogit, can expect from you in this regard.

How long does it take to receive payment?

I requested my earnings through paypall and now I want to know when will I get them. Thanks!

BN Earnings to Charities

I have decided to donate all of my BN earnings to the children's charity, CASA. Is there any way that you can directly donate the proceeds or do I have to take them from you then donate them? Perhaps, CASA has a paypal account that I can dump the money to. They won't build any new buildings or anything from my earnings but it is something and perhaps I can get others to dontate their earnings to charities as well.

About Cheque Payments

I don't want to receive a cheque for $1.00 or less.  Is there a way for me to help you regulate cheque payments?  Let's say, give me my checque when I receive $10.00 in my account.  Is that possible?
