Make no mistake however, patience with the bible lobotomized, (or those rendered dysfunctional by any holy book for that matter), is still in short supply. All I would ask anyone to consider is this; we all have a penchant to default to the notion of respecting the beliefs of others, my first response when someone tries to play that card against me is always the same . . . Do you have to include me in your craziness?

For the most part, I am happy to let people believe whatever they must believe, whatever gives them comfort or helps them through the day.
