Make no mistake however, patience with the bible lobotomized, (or those rendered dysfunctional by any holy book for that matter), is still in short supply. All I would ask anyone to consider is this; we all have a penchant to default to the notion of respecting the beliefs of others, my first response when someone tries to play that card against me is always the same . . . Gee . . I didn't know that?

I didn't know it was possible to not believe in something and "hate it" at the same time. You would think that a person who clearly states that they do not believe in a traditionally defined conscious creator being would not be accused of hating that being.
