I'm going straight to heaven when I die -- sorry about your bad luck

Could there possibly be a more shallow precept than excluding others from heaven because they believe differently? Never mind that it involves a certain amount of arrogance and obtuseness to act as gatekeeper for the pearly gates on God's behalf. I am sure that if he exists he can handle the job...
