All-Purpose Low-Carb One-Skillet Meal
This is a little one-skillet dish of my own concoction. I've eaten it for breakfast, lunch, supper, quick snack....whatever. It is a quick full meal on its own, and will serve one or two, depending on your appetite. It's quite filling and provides lots of protein, iron, vitamins, and minerals....

The Curse of Hiding It Well
I'm overweight, but if you met me, you'd probably not believe that I weigh what I do. My own doctor didn't, and he's seen me in one of those peek-a-boo paper gown thingies. When I told him I wanted to lose at least 75 pounds, he looked at me like I'd lost my cotton-pickin' mind. When I told him how...

Don't Judge Your Fitness Level by the Scale
Any form of fitness measurement that depends on weight measurements should be relegated to the bottom of your fitness gauge list. Especially those that rely solely on weight, as opposed to measurements; that includes the much-touted body-mass index, or BMI. Okay, you are saying, Editormum has really...
