What Is "Petite"?

I get a lot of funny looks when I tell people that I have to wear "petite" size clothes. I guess most people do not equate "petite" with 200 pounds, or a size 18. The confusion comes from clothing designers who, rather than designating a garment as size XS (extra-small), call their tiniest size... Sign in to see full entry.
