Editormum...
So, what this means is any woman can find clothes in any of the groupings so mysteriously strewn throughout the women's section? This explains what I call the "pin ball effect" that women seem to emulate as they wanter aimlessly from rack to rack looking for something that might fit them. My wife recently made a reference to a "size 0", is that naked? Hee Hee.

Always being a tall girl, I have never had to look into petite sizes!

yes, being five foot two
can really be annoying. The bad thing is that the petites I've tried, have all seemed geared toward old women. I'm 27 and I want to dress "hip", but its sooo annoying when I try on a pair of pants literally made for someone who is six feet tall, or a skirt that should be thigh length that comes righ to or below my knees.

hmmmm,
it's been a while since I purchased petites... maybe I should look again. It might make me feel alot better about my size.

That's interesting, Homegirl...
because I need size 18 or 20 in Misses, size 18 or 16 in Women's, but I can wear size 16 Women's Petites. (I even have a couple of size 14 WPs!)

I look better in petitie clothes
but hate the fact that when I purchase petites I must purchase it in a larger size than normal.

Maybe I'm just
cynical, but it seems to me they make these things complicated on purpose so we'll end up spending more money.

doll, glad you cleared up that "petite" thing. I was reading
where this woman called herself petite and weighted about as much as you, and I said, wha tha, petite, sound more pleasantly plump, or something. Anyway, it's a height thing, hey? As you probably don't know, I like the petite woman in the range you mentioned. l. S.

I wear petite size clothing
because I'm barely 5'1", but no longer think of myself as petite. I have to wear them, though, to get the length right in pants, especially.

I always wondered about that...
I'm short, and so thought I was petite because that's usually how I've seen it defined, but the clothes never fit right on my frame.
