Mothers and Daughters

I've felt down this weekend and especially today. This is the 5th anniversary of my mother's death. Every year at this time I have a business meeting to attend that is out of state. Dancing in the Rain

Paul McCartney was absolutely fantastic! Not many performers of any age could or would sing and perform for over 3 hours with no break! There was one of those Georgia summer downpours about halfway through the concert, but we were prepared, thanks to Grandma! The Green Concert Excitement

I will miss posting an entry tomorrow. My daughter, my granddaughter, and I are going to Atlanta for the Green Concert to benefit Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta. Memories of my sister and Special Olympics

The passing of Eunice Shriver this week brought back so many memories of my sister Janet who was a Special Olympic athlete in her younger years. Janet died three years ago at the age of 50 after being in a coma for 5 months.
