I tried to walk to the doctor's office, but I got lost and needed to be rescued by the police. It was interesting. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow. My back is still hurt. Wished Ted a happy Father's Day. Met a new PCA who seems really nice; she's going to echo me at poetry feature reading. She knows a friend of mine, Eli Clare, a trans activist with CP. Today...

chicago

I vent into my PCA's laptop... Bad day. Broken wheelchair (the airline broke it, it doesn't move now). Lost $20 somewhere. Spent 4 extra hours in an airpprt baggage claim office and one extra hour waiting for a shuttle. After I gave them really specific directions about what not to do with my chair... I'm black and nearly penniless because I still haven't gotten paid for speaking. I called them again today and now they say I should have they money by next week- urgh! I owe so many people money. Today...

Got one check, the smaller one. Didn't get that part time job- darn! Spent money (took $40 out of check) on wrapping paper, a birthday card for my grandma, a store bought cake, and 3 cartons of juice. It cost $16.95!
