A Brief Celebration of My 200th Post! (Plus a Challenge for You)

Beware the popping corks! In just under 7 months, I've written 200 entries here (spread through out my 9 blogs). It's my most consistent writing endeavor ever! I've only made $4.73, but so what? The act of writing is the point. To commemorate my accomplishment, I've decided to issue the following... Sign in to see full entry.

It's Gotta Be a Conspiracy...

I went to Noho for improvisation class and no one was there! The teacher rescheduled, but didn't put up a note. I think he felt bad when I called him to ask where he was (his # was on the flyer outside the door), because he offered to let me do work enchange or get a part scholarship to his next... Dance...

I leave for my 1st dance class in about 2 years at 1:15. My PCA made me 3 boiled eggs. They're quick to eat and loaded with protein. Plus I had soup and juice. No way I'm fainting in class. I'm glad today is the beginning of daylight savings time (which I'd forgotten until a few moments ago),... Sign in to see full entry.

Today's Update!!

Bill Cosby rocked! I never laughed so hard. I was half an hour late coming out the show, because I couldn't find my PCA in the dark, and the van service was pissed. We got stuck in Homecoming tarrific and it took over 40 minutes to get home. I had a productive day overall. I got my money orders and... Sign in to see full entry.

Good Day!

I ran into a really good old friend who I hadn't seen in ages (the 2nd such person I've met in 2 days, much to my joy). He was just walking by in the Campus Center. I nearly fainted. I didn't even know he was in the area. I also had a good writer/reader day. I actually finished enough of my fantasy... Sign in to see full entry.

And God Said, "Let the Curse Me Lifted!" plus an Update on Me

I'm not a Red Sox fan in the crazed way of most New Englanders. I'm a Mets girl since '86. But I rooted for them in this series. How could I not? Eighty-six years! And they won! After a difficult day (I couldn't find my dance class, had to move my entire U Drive- university virtual disk drive space,... Sign in to see full entry.

Update

Spent most of the day sleeping after a rough night with a sore neck, so most stuff got pushed back a day. Although I did call about the upcoming war tax resister's conference as well as to tell the book review woman she'd get it tomorrow. Just finished working out (stretched while watching CSI and... More Tasks Accomplished, But Still More To Do

Had a conference call about my fetal value speech in Atlanta as well as a fellow-up call that gave me the 411 on the Funders Network (who I'll be speaking to). Took a call from Becky, one of the people who applied to help me in my upcoming trip, and sent up an interview for tomorrow. I hope she... Sign in to see full entry.

Knowledge Grained, Errands Completed, Money Spent...

According to Weird Travels on the Travel Channel tonight, there are ghosts at Mount Holyoke! I'll be checking that out. I also got two new books out the unknown out and went to a reading while at the library today. I want to read the one guy's memoir, but I didn't like the other author. At school, I... Blogging, Money, and Me

Figured out today that by the time my subscription exspires on 10/14/05 I will have spent $85.85 for a total of 17 months here. I know that that's pretty cheap for a membership in a writing community, but I'm poor and thus far I've only earned $4.43. To break even I need to make $81.42 (or about 24...
