Tomorrow is the 69 th anniversay of the Bombing of Guernica, during the Spanish Civil War of 1936/39 Monday, April 26 th 1937: market day in the Basque city of Guernica. The streets are crowded with inhabitants, and people from the outlying areas of Irun and Santander: roughly 10,000 in number.
