FIESTA, PART ONE
What I like doing, perhaps most of all in my writing, is to write a story-within-story, such as this one. “ The Lovers ” was the first story that I’d ever written, so it has a special significance for me, and I’ve made it the first part of trilogy of the same name. After coming to live in the mountains, near the small town of Periana, in Andalucia, and attending the many fiestas, ferias, and even funerals, this story seemed to come quite naturally to me.
