Tree Church . . . . . .

This church is for the athletic nature lovers among us. To really enjoy this church you will need a large, old tree with lots of large, strong branches, perhaps a couple or three of them together. This is to be a highly specialized church, solely for priests and ministers who have taken a wrong turn, perhaps not enough to be indighted, but, nonetheless, a wrong turn. Swing Themed Church

Everything would be "swingin'" here! Instead of pews, there'd be swings, large and small, for the congregation. The music would be from the swing era, and swingers would not be considered to be sinners in this church. Favorite hymns would include "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot." For the swingers, adults... Church of the Sleepers

Well, it is often joked that people sleep through sermons. Why not a church where it is expected for one to sleep? We could have devices akin tothe old "sleep learning" systems whereby one put a speaker under the pillow and slept while learning material. The same could be done with sermons, eh? Why... Church for the Dead

What if, at this Church for the Dead, all the local funeral homes would bring the corpses of people who had died that week and sat them up in pews for one last sermon, one last chance to hear the choir, and one last chance to feel the hard, uncomfortable wooden pews on their dead butts. A Cool Church . . . .

And I don't mean "kewl"! On a day like today with the heat index around 105 o F, I thought a church with a pool covering the area usually covered by pews would be, well, a Godsend! Church of True Devotion
