Contamination

Single-stream recycling used to be extolled for allowing people to put all of their recyclables in one bin. Now it is starting to be lamented. The big problem is contamination. Medical Alert Decline?

Medical alert devices (i.e. Life Alert) have been a godsend for elderly people, enabling many to live indepdently and to report emergencies. Will they be used 50 years from now? Rapid Blood

Today is my 33rd birthday. Just like seemingly everything else nowadays, the American Red Cross has a blood donor app. What makes the app so beneficial is Rapid Pass. Fast Food Touchscreen

Yesterday, I treated myself to dinner at a McDonald's I had not eaten in since the 20th Century. It was the first fast food joint I saw that offered touchscreen ordering.
