SPRING...

A long time ago I went to a live matinee performance one Saturday to see Smiley Burnette, sidekick to famous cowboy actors Gene Autrey and Roy Rogers. He appeared in costume, big ol' cowboy hat, embroidered fancy western shirt, bolo tie, cowboy boots and all, and spoke with a studied western drawl.... Sign in to see full entry.
