SQUIRREL' S YEAR

After leaves fall, a silver maple becomes a pen and ink etching against the winter sky, a reminder of endlessly alternating days, nights, seasons. In some winter scenes the etching is edited by snow, the lines softened somewhat. Or if seen from a moderate distance, fog erases all but a soft shadow... Sign in to see full entry.
