Absolutely!
Has anyone else noticed an increased use of the word "absolutely?" Seems to me it's everywhere, it's everywhere. I hear it said by witnesses on court tv as a substitute for "yes." I hear interviewees on CNN responding with "absolutely" as a way of emphasizing the affirmative. Newscasters, people on... Sign in to see full entry.
