Parental Myth of Mental Illness
Sigmund Freud blamed all mental illness on parenting. Even though we no longer believe most of what Freud said, we still believe that parents and environment cause mental illness. In comparing myself with my daughters, I think that we prettty much were born with it and it didn't manifest itself...

Having a Sense of Humor
Yesterday my daughter Brenda wanted me to take her to her college, so she could register. There is a bus that goes directly to it and she can pay her tuition with her credit card. So I refused. Then she said that she wanted her state identification card. To that I said yes--the bus doesn't go there....
