How Goes It?
My speech last night went very well. I gave an impromptu speech about why I love thrift stores. In my opinion, a good day at the thrift store is far better than a bad day at a department store. Thanks so much for your kind comments and words of encouragement. Sign in to see full entry.

Someday Soon
I am so excited. I am giving a speech at the next Toastmasters meeting. I am trying to earn my Advanced Communicator Bronze (AC-B) certification by June 30, 2010, which is also the end of the Toastmasters calendar year. I have only two more speeches to go. Do you think I can reach my goal? I sure... Sign in to see full entry.

The Verdict
I hope everyone had a good week. My speech on Monday night went pretty well. The person who evaluated me said that it would have been a good idea to focus more on my experiences during high school. I am looking forward to attending our Toastmasters Fall Conference tomorrow, where I will see friends... Sign in to see full entry.

Whole New World
My speech tomorrow is about my being the first student with a physical disability in our county to be mainstreamed into my neighborhood high school. The decision to attend my neighborhood school was one of the best decisions of my life and enabled me to become the woman that I am today. Sign in to see full entry.
