4/12/2005 Nurse Garfield's Field Notes

Guinevere's human adopted a new cat today. Her name is Petunia Pixie, and she is a fully-trained feline nurse. I look forward to conferring with my new colleague; although she will never completely replace Guinevere, she will bring her own talents and gifts to whatever she chooses to do in the field... 4/10/2005 Nurse Garfield's Field Notes

Today is a very dull day. Both of my humans were home today, taking it easy. Guinevere's human finally got her ashes back from the crematorium. The urn in which said ashes reside is marked "refined lady" to honor Guinevere's exalted status - she truly was a refined lady in every sense of the word.... Sign in to see full entry.

There isn't much going on around here, but I wanted to just check in to keep this blog updated. Thanks for reading it, by the way. Yours truly, Garfield Peters, MSFN, Class of 2003 Director, Cherry Ames BSFN Program Sign in to see full entry.

4/6/2005 Nurse Garfield's Field Notes

Today, it's my male human that is of most concern to me. He is in a great deal of pain in his hips, and he thinks it's weather related. He wants to be able to walk easily, and he doesn't take pain very well. I am also worried about my regular human, who doesn't exactly take her husband's pain very... Sign in to see full entry.

4/5/2005 Nurse Garfield's Field Notes

My human went to the doctor yesterday. Things seem OK, except for her lungs; she is to see an infectious disease specialist in a couple of weeks, just to make sure no pneumonia remains in her lungs. She is otherwise in stable condition. I have had to resort to begging for food of late. My humans are... Sign in to see full entry.

4/2/2005 Nurse Garfield's Field Notes

My human has been spending a great deal of time in front of the television set. Apparently someone very important died today; she keeps talking about this event being "news junkie heaven," whatever that means. I don't understand how such a bad event can provide "news junkie heaven." On the education... Sign in to see full entry.

3/31/2005 Nurse Garfield's Field Notes

My human is going through her normal morning angst - this time about money. She did something very healthy, however, at least in my opinion. She emailed someone at a local nonprofit agency asking for hints on fundraising, in the hope that this person would be able to help her. I hope so as well; I... Sign in to see full entry.

3/30/2005 Nurse Garfield's Field Notes

Today promises to be a quiet day, one of begging my human to take her medication, and of sleeping. It is going to be warm outside, which means I won't be very active. I hate warm weather; it's not easy wearing a permanent fur coat. I am happy beyond words to mention that the Cherry Ames School of... Sign in to see full entry.

3/29/2005 Nurse Garfield's FIeld Notes

My human is doing a great deal better than she was this morning; she is always at her absolute worst first thing in the morning. I credit good feline nursing care with helping her snap out of her funk. There isn't that much new news to report, an occupational hazard of posting every day - one soon... 3/26/2005 Nurse Garfield's Field Notes

My human is in an excellent mood today, largely because she ate a decent breakfast for once. It's been so long since she did that. I am keeping an eye on her food intake. There isn't much more news to report, so I'm going to sign off a bit early. Yours truly, Garfield Peters, MSFN, Class of 2003... Sign in to see full entry.
