My human and I got to talking about the 1995 Chicago heat wave this morning. It turns out that there were over 700 deaths during that heat wave, not over 500, as I stated the other day. Friends, I have some sad news for you. Barbaro, the Kentucky Derby winner, has developed laminitis in his injured leg.
