When I was a kid my sister and I would get what my mom called the Sunday Night Sillies. You know, we'd have a great weekend, and then all of a sudden on Sunday evening at dinner we'd burst out laughing, unable to stop. My mom always said, "this always ends in tears;" and it usually did because one of us would say something hurtful to the other. My sister and I have always been close, but such is the nature of sisterhood, I guess. Thius being Sunday night and all reminded me of those moments. I... Sign in to see full entry.

I have a question for you...

Both my parents grew up there, and we still have family living there. At the time all three of my living grandparents were in Pittsburgh (my maternal grandmother has since moved to Philadelphia and she is... Sign in to see full entry.
I thought I'd tell you a little bit about my childhood
I was born in Tokyo, Japan, and spent the first ten years of my life in Asia. My dad was working for Accenture and he got moved around a lot. When I was about six months old, we moved to Singapore, where my sister was born in 1986. At the age of five, we moved back to Tokyo, where my sister and I went to the American School in Japan--Nursury Kindergarten. After kindergarten, I moved on to the "big kids" campus at Chofu, which is a suburb of the city. I remember the bus ride as being extremely... Sign in to see full entry.
