Back to high school
I remember high school as being very testosterone-driven. In 2002, when I graduated from a private boarding school in New Jersey, the school of about 430 students was roughly 60% male, 40% female; and the ratio of boy/girl dorms was 2:1. The school had been co-ed from its inception in 1848 until 1915, then went single-sex (boys, of course), then became co-ed again in 1970.
