The biggest tragedy in New York building demolition history

I recently learned something very interesting about New York's Penn Station. For any of you who haven't been there, the station is entirely underground--it sits below Madison Square Garden. The tracks are three and four stories below the main terminus, and is accessable by six different subway lines, the A,C, E, 1, 2, and 3. It's a downright ugly station and absolutely nothing like the station that was built in 1905-11. It was built by the Pennsylvania Railroad as its terminus in New York so...
