A DAY OR SO IN MY LIFE! WHO CARES? for Thursday, July 11, 2013

Well today I made a pasta sauce from my tomatoes, peppers, onions and garlic in the garden. Of course it had ground lean round steak and it was topped off with hands full of good garden fresh basil. It was yummy. I wanted to make it in a meal size first before I canned it to see if it was good. We have a surprise tomato, at least to me. A yellow one. I have stayed away from them because I always thought of them as sweet, those I had eaten were. This one is called Lemon Boy. It is nicely acidic... Sign in to see full entry.
