The greatest TV hero, ever, from his creation of Sarge Saunders in "Combat!," spent most of his acting career in the roles of a hall-of-fame, bad guys. Elvis Presley's "heaviest film," King Creole, featured Vic Morrow as the thug/terrorist. In "Rock Around the Clock," Morrow played the ultimate punk. Chief Justice John Robert's has the whole world in his hands! Again!

Mr. Roberts is the political king of the world. It was GWB. It never was Prez Obama. I'm not talking about charm, charisma or cleverness. I'm referring to actual power to do stuff. Good News! Stanford is Destined for a Repeat Run in the NIT! Go Stanford!

This hasn't been a great won-loss season for Stanford. But this is a team that could win the oldest tournament, two years in a row. In the quarter of a century of NIT play, only two teams have won back-to-back tourneys. St. Johns and South Carolina. Stanford has the talent to go back-to-back. About this Blog

This is what I call "sports and stuff!" I'm starting out with a story that could make the 49ers champions if their coaches are smart enough to read "the instructions." If they fail to read this, oh well, 2009 will just be another losing year. Have you ever wondered why they don't run the option play much in the NFL?
