Ann's 2nd Interview

Ann's quest to become a part-time stocker at Wegman's grocery store is going well. She aced her telephone interview yesterday. Now she has a Tuesday in-person interview for the job. Ann and Wegman's

Ann told Dad and me something on Tuesday that I find to be a bombshell. She has applied for part-time work at Wegman's, a Northeastern grocery chain, as a shelf stocker. Ned's Break

Come May, car wash mechanic Ned will be taking a break working his every other Sunday for Dad until October. Ned used to take warm weather breaks up until a few years back, when inflation caused him to want to keep working. He has a family of seven to support. I guess things have broken financially... Machine Over Me

Do I like washing my car? The answer is in two parts. I like going through the brush conveyor tunnel at Location A or any of the automatic touch-frees. I like watching the machines in action.
