Surprise Return

On Monday, I heard a knock on the office door. I assumed it was a customer. Much to my wonderful surprise, it was former employee Donald and his daughter Marlene. The Drought of 1999 was five years in the making We had a lot of dry summers. The amount of rain we acquired was not enough to keep pace. A Tale of Two Winters

Winter 2017-18 feels like two different winters. I cannot recall a winter that has done a 180 like this. December and January were frigid months. I have the heating bills to prove it. Them Droughts

During the last 20 years or so, Maryland has had several droughts. Maryland is known for having an having an abundant water supply, but there have been times when we have realized that we cannot expect the rain to fall.
