From hatchling to nestling to fledgeling... The nestling phase is about to end, when these two youngsters, one way or another, exit the nest. They normally spend around 4 very vulnerable days on the ground, before taking flight. While these two won't be on the literal ground, they will be on the floor of the deck, so we've begun to prepare it for them to be safe from the winds and from predatious birds, and to also learn a thing or two about finding food on the ground.
