Another balmy day... The maple tree is going green, well along towards full leafiness, and the lilacs in the back have survived late blizzards without freezing their leaves off, nor breaking under the weight of last week's heavy wet snow. I'm not much enjoying a gout flare-up which comes, I guess, from my allopurinol running low, coinciding with a terrific deal on sliced roast beef in the grocery deli, and eating a meal of lamb stew--both high-purine content foods, and the worst for sufferers of...
