And here we are, home again. Charlie was successfully fetched from a bus station/park'n'ride lot I have never been to before but that turned out to be quite easy to find and access. The timing wasn't bad--I only waited half an hour before his ride from the mountains arrived, and I had been smart enough to bring a book along. There were a few rainshowers but nothing blinding or dramatic. No traffic jams on the way home, just the usual crazy selfish stupid drivers who pass on the right, who cut in...
