alarums in the night!
About 4 in the morning, a car alarm went off. It was very close and loud, and went on for some time until it abruptly stopped. Somewhere in there, I woke enough to wonder if it was my truck: it was that close and that loud. Then it stopped. Why would my truck alarm go off? I don't lock it as there is nothing in there worth taking, and I have had to clean up glass from broken windows twice, and pay for new windows, for thieves to find that out. Not even loose change.
