Flowers and the Romanovs
Spring has finally arrived on the deck not only with broody doves, but with flowers and greenery, and dapply green shade from the big old maple as the leaves unfurl. As the sun's path slides northward, the maple won't shade the front window, and I will be hanging some sort of shade curtain over it to make the living room less of an oven come the sunny afternoons of July and August.
