Sherry didn't come down from Denver, but Kathy brought her nephew, Kirk, along. Kathy and I talked non-stop, re-affirming our kindredness of spirit, while Kirk and Charlie talked non-stop, affirming a new friendship and kindredness of spirit. After a couple of hours, we got in the truck and drove around Garden of the Gods to the Trading Post where we did a bit of shopping and had lunch, and talked and talked and just enjoyed one another like different fingers on one hand.
