Ever since I was first exposed to classical music, opera, ballet, etc.
after I got the heck outta Salkum and went to Seattle, I've been an admirer of Russian theatre - one of the girls in the steno pool with me at the phone company was a ballet dancer who had dreams of Ballet Russe (sp?) and the Bolshoi. Thanks for this reminder of the non-political side of Russian culture.

Well I always have subtitles some of those Russian films are interesting.
