Churches and Abuse

I hear advocates of the Church struggle with this most recently revealed, most appalling violation of all trust and faith in the representatives of their God. Some of them are trying to sell the idea that if there is no penetration, it isn't rape, it isn't as bad as rape. But it is rape: of the spirit, the innocence, the entire future life of the victim. Family

We all come from somewhere, from some people whom we are raised by and among: our family. But not all families, just because there are shared ties of blood, live well together.
