We got lots and lots of rain last night, but it greened things up and cooled things down. Hurray! The pups (now officially one year old!) are wrestling in my office. I'm not sure who invited them, but they are having fun. Me? Not so much. I managed to get the first 2500 words of one of the two... Sign in to see full entry.

Good morning. Last night, we had a fair amount of rain in the evening. I was working on a story when the main storm moved through the area. The lightning was flashing so frequently that I shut my computer down. I know it's a lot of words, but if you have ever considered using AI (Artificial... Sign in to see full entry.

This is going to be a busy 'medical' week. I have to be in Valdosta (Georgia) within the next 90 minutes to have a routine heart monitor and MRI done of my chest. I had an artificial heart valve implanted in February 2016, and they like to make sure everything stays where it is supposed to be... Sign in to see full entry.

I'm trying to get this all out in time to make it to church at ten this morning. We don't have to drive anywhere - just walk across the street. Lisa is out back with the pups, so all I have to do is finish this entry. It's supposed to be another decent day (as Florida can get in August!) until it... Sign in to see full entry.

I did something stupid this morning. I had already written and posted all of my columns when I got a call. I was on the phone for thirty minutes, and without realizing it, I hadn't hit the "Save and Post" button for what I had written here and shut the computer down. With all the medical stuff going... I had something all ready to post here, and my internet went down for what has been explained to us as ' working on lines after the big wind storm we had the other night.' Joy. The big news is that my first book is shooting up the Fresh Ink Group sales charts. They have printed thousands of books,... Sign in to see full entry.

Good morning. I've got a follow-up doctor's appointment with my cancer doctor this morning and another with my regular doctor tomorrow to renew all of my normal medications. I don't expect much change in my life with either appointment. I was going through a batch of photos, looking for one... Sign in to see full entry.

Good morning! Well, good late morning. Last night, I sent my next manuscript to my publisher. It is based on longer versions of the grief segments I post here daily. When it left my computer, it was 68,315 words. It could have been another 10,000 words longer, but I was in a hurry to get it out just... Sign in to see full entry.

Lisa is home. There's not much more I can say. She made it back to Orlando yesterday afternoon, and we've been making up for when we weren't together. I know today is Sunday, but we didn't wake up until 1045 this morning. She says she will make a post there later this afternoon. For now, I'm going... Sign in to see full entry.

I am going to be brief in posting. Two things. I am friends with Amanda Lay on FB, and we had a brief conversation this morning. I enjoy talking with her. Second, Lisa is home! I need to say no more! Thank you. I'll be back to full posting tomorrow, but today, I must celebrate my wife coming home! Sign in to see full entry.
