I had a couple social obligations that have tied me up the past couple days, Christmas get togethers and all you understand. The temp outside as I write this is 19 with a "Feels Like" of 9. I hate cold weather! While not really 'sick,' my voice is real squeaky, making it difficult to use my Dragon... Sign in to see full entry.

Cold Resolutions
I realize it is mid December already but holy crow, it got cold over night. We had a low of 20 about 4AM or so this morning and it is 29 right now. I heard the furnace kicking in and out all night long. Oddly enough, they tell us we will be back in the upper 40's to mid 50's by early next week. I... Sign in to see full entry.

... and Here We Go!
I'm sorry about the "I'm here... opps... no I'm not!" stuff lately. Between my broken wrist and then an offer 'too good to refuse' to write a 3200 word article for publication that also paid $600, I've been tied up. The wrist has healed to the point I can use it for 30 minutes or so without too much... Sign in to see full entry.

Just Hangin' Out
My doctor asks that I refrain from typing just a couple more days. Reluctantly, I agree with him. In the morning, I am going to give the ol' Dragon "Naturally Speaking" program a workout as I soldier on with a new story. Thanks to all who extended wishes. Sign in to see full entry.

The Trapezoid... Always The Trapezoid.
As many of you know, I had my left wrist shut in a car door (accidently they say! LOL... just kidding. The wind caught my car door and slammed on my wrist) Things were improving but the pain began to get worse and testing showed that the Trapezoid bone was dying or had already died. The Trapezoid is... Sign in to see full entry.

Reality At Last!
I spent today doing some one handed editing and formatting work on my long awaited (by ME anyway) trilogy, The Reality of Perception. I submitted it about mid day and hopefully it goes live soon. This is the cover. Sign in to see full entry.

Cold and Then Hot
Just got back from the orthopedic doctor and he advised that my wrist was healing, slowly but healing nonetheless. I explained that I was getting the jitters from not writing every day and he laughed. He told me to give it at least another day or so but also gave me an injection in the wrist to help... Blurring the Lines
My wrist is beginning to allow me to use it some without the excruciating pain I had just a few days ago. I have not been idle! I posted a couple weeks back about another story line had popped into my mind and I've been gathering research material for it. Even in my fiction, I like to stay as close... Now I Went And Did It...
I was getting some groceries out of the car a couple days back and a gust of wind caught the door and slammed it on my left wrist. Nothing broken but it is swollen and it hurts! Obviously, this is gonna slow me down some. Sign in to see full entry.

Light My Fire
I kind of intended to rest most of the rest of this evening but got an interesting phone call from my nephew's middle daughter, Whisper. Whisper is about 17 and I knew she was into reading a lot of materials but apparently she wanted to begin to write some stuff as well. She called to ask if I was... Sign in to see full entry.
