It's been five days or so since I was last here and I am not sure what to tell you. As my steady readers know, I was quite sick with a pneumonia and a constant cough and it wasn't relenting. I went into see my doctor who listened to my lungs and then sent me to have a chest x-ray. The radiology... Sign in to see full entry.

So Long Glenn Frey
I'm sure some of you have heard but Glenn Frey of the Eagles has died today. I have been a long time fan of the Eagles, catching one of their first concert tours in both Chicago and Detroit in 1972 and 73. Since then, I've managed to see them at least ten more times, most recently at a show in L.A.... Sign in to see full entry.
The Cold Medicine That Makes You Write Like A Moron
I didn't get much written last night that made sense. The odd thing about a low grade fever and a tad too much NyQuyl is you tend not to make much sense. I'm gaining ground on this cold/virus/whatever and I only feel hung over instead of stoned and drunk... not that I've ever been either. I finally... Sign in to see full entry.

Feverishly Working
I'm still not feeling the best but at least the fever is gone and my breathing is no where near as labored as it was the other day. The urge to write has overwhelmed me so I'm working on "Just Dreaming." with any luck at all, I'll be posting another section tonight. It's a lovely 5 degrees outside... Sign in to see full entry.

Back In A While
I caught a heck of a cold and I wish I hadn't. Sneezing and coughing, headache, and chills. Not complaining, just explaining. The nice thing about it is I took a big slug of NyQuyl so I'm going to get some sleep! Night night! LOL Sign in to see full entry.

The Heart of The Matter
Well... in the 'I probably ought to tell you' department, I saw another specialist today about an increasingly issue I've had for a while. I have an aortic aneurysm that has grown to 5.8 cm, about twice its normal size. I've had a lot of lower extremity edema (swelling) and now an increasing... Sign in to see full entry.

More On "Making A Murderer"
The storm continued to lay down snow but my grandsons went to school, a great help when it comes to peace and quiet at writing time. All the school systems just to the west of us were closed but I lucked out! It's still quite cold outside. It was about 3 above last night and could get close to that... Sign in to see full entry.

Where Did The Time Go?
I got busy doing a section on panic attacks for one of my other projects. I started about 8PM and I just looked up to realize it was after 1AM. I got over 2700 words down on the subject and got them checked over on Grammarly. I anticipate this section to be close to 4500 words or so but it will be... Sign in to see full entry.
Lizzie Borden Had An Ax...
I spent much of this day working on a couple different projects and before settling in to working on "Just Dreaming," I decided to go out and walk about for twenty minutes or so, just to loosen the blood flow to the head. It's cold, roughly 15 F with a steady breeze. I had the big Boxer dog with me... Sign in to see full entry.

... And Now, The Weather!
You've all heard the saying, 'a game of inches.' In regards of the big storm that just went through, it was a game of a mile or so. Friends of mine about two miles to the west of me got seven inches of snow while we got about an inch of rain that finally turned to snow as the storm was leaving. We... Sign in to see full entry.
