I spent a quiet Saturday night this Memorial Day 'holiday' at home, working on my latest offering over in my "Ramblings" section. For over 25 years, I spent every late spring and summer Saturday night at a local dirt race track, but I gave all of that up late last fall. I'll admit it is a bit more... Sign in to see full entry.

Honor Those Who Have Gave All
As we swing into Memorial Day weekend, let us remember that the nation sets this holiday aside for reasons other than the beginning of the vacation season. The day was begun in 1868 and known as 'Decoration Day' as part of the healing from the Civil War. The Grand Army of the Republic declared that... Sign in to see full entry.

Kenny Rogers Was Pretty Smart
As I was doing some research and adding notes for upcoming chapters, I realized that I had forgot to add a warning to part four of "Relax. " It is at the top of the section and is clearly marked as new added content to the post. Some of the diseases that cause us to be stressed are very complex and... Sign in to see full entry.

... And Then Panic Set In
As I've been assembling "Relax" in the order I want it to follow in the final book, I began to search for some articles I had written a couple years back. Since I don't allow other people to use my writing computer, I was fairly sure they hadn't been deleted. I searched and searched my files by the... Sign in to see full entry.
Heavy And Overcast
The skies are heavy with clouds here today and it rained on and off all night. The grass is finally green and the flowers are blooming. I might wander back to the turkey trail but the ground is very wet and I'm not sure I want to get another pair of shoes soaking wet. The dogs want to get out and... Sign in to see full entry.

Harrumph Indeed!
I saw a lot of wild turkeys yesterday in my foray into the woods. They make so much noise as they travel that I doubt they ever saw or heard me. I also heard a couple deer but never quite saw them. If you aren't aware, whitetail deer are very skittish and that is why hunting them is such a sport.... Sign in to see full entry.

Goin' For A Walk
It is a beautiful day out there today. I got my first of two writing sessions in fairly early and now I think I'm going to go out and walk through the woods behind the house. The wild turkeys are babbling like crazy out back and I might be able to walk up on a few if I walk carefully enough. As we... Sign in to see full entry.

Onward and Upward
Tomorrow, I begin a new series that will eventually become my next book. I've titled it, "Relax - Life Is A Gift" based on the answer I gave someone who recently remarked to me, 'You are looking so much better! What have you been doing?' My response was, 'I'm learning to let go of things that don't... Sign in to see full entry.

Moving Onward
With the finale of "Just Dreaming" posted, I'm moving on to a new project. I've got about seven projects all annotated, four are projects I really want to do, but I've decided to go with my book on relaxing and surviving in a world determined to set itself on fire. I've always been a 'Type A'... Sign in to see full entry.

Readers Choice
I think I've done this a couple times before and seeing that I have several different plot lines in my "bone pile" to follow, I'll try it again. I'll list a basic story outline, and you tell me which one you want to see develop next. My Amazon 'give away' experiment with my Kindle stuff told me that... Sign in to see full entry.
