We were 44 degrees about 3 PM today. Five hours later, it is now 21 and the wind is just howling outside as a huge polar front roars into town. We are supposed to hit something like 5 tonight. Hurray for us! Just to cap off a 'perfect day,' (/sarcasm) I had someone lose a tire in front of me in town... Sign in to see full entry.
Back in the summer of 2013, I was diagnosed with a pancreatic cancer. As my endocrinologist told me then, I was at the right place at the right time, talking to the right doctor. He was able to place me in a study that was going on in a major city near by and after six grueling, horrible weeks, I... Sign in to see full entry.

Book of the Month! Yeah Baby!
My latest book made the "Introducing (this new book)" for January on my writing group. Sign in to see full entry.
A lot warmer today at 35 but just to keep me from smiling, the forecast for Friday through Monday is back in the single digits for highs and below zero virtually every night. My dogs want me to go out and play "Throw the Stick" with them. The game is endless fun for them. After the first 500 times,... Sign in to see full entry.

I was up later on the Internet later than I thought I would be, but I got a lot of research done for a story I am working to work on in a month or so. I never even realized that it was almost midnight when I finished up, but I'm glad I did. I don't know why, but I just started singing Jimmy... Sign in to see full entry.
I think my morning anger motivated me a lot more than I thought it might. I got a lot done and am actually looking at laying back early. I've already played my Twitter games and added about 1800 words to one of my stories and that is enough. I'm just four or five from having 600 'good' followers. I... Sign in to see full entry.
I think I've mentioned here that I shut my cell phone off ~about~ nine PM every night so I can write/relax/think as necessary. I usually turn it on about 11AM or so for the same reason. All my life, I've lived at the beck and call of others and I no longer wish to do that. If someone needs to... Sign in to see full entry.

Quite the day. I had to wait for someone to wander over and plow my driveway. I had three guys try to plow it out, but they couldn't touch it. Finally got a young man in with a big V-plow and he broke it all open. I didn't need to go anywhere, I just wanted to go check my mail. If the weather holds... Sign in to see full entry.
Regret Is A Terrible Emotion
A decided warming is in the air. Oh, it isn't 75 or anything goofy, but at 9AM EST, it was 25 and I can handle that. The dogs went outside to the fenced in yard an hour ago and all I have heard from them back there is the joyful barking and calling they do when they are happy and are 'pursuing each... Thoughts For A Snowy Night
I got some stuff done that needed to be done. There was only a couple loads of laundry and I spent about seven minutes washing any and all dishes, and ran a quick vacuum through the place. The dogs weren't all that appreciative of the vacuum, but they are the ones who make the messes! The snow is... Sign in to see full entry.
