In my relentless pursuit of figuring out Twitter and chase book sales, I found something that I am going to try and I will report back on how it works. I had begun to follow as many writers out there as I could and was always seeing this hashtag #RRBC. It got so I was seeing it so often, it made me... Sign in to see full entry.
The Game of Twitter
This little post is destined for my 'how to write' e-book. I should post it in my 'On Writing' blog, but I am just starting my advice on how to promote your book. (Short answer? Study PT Barnum!) I'm discovering that Twitter is a game that takes a bit to figure out. When you first start, you have to... Sign in to see full entry.

Please Read This One
I rarely worry about people reading my stuff here, but this one is important to me. As some of you know, I've been posting my first actually published book, "Things My Father Taught Me - Lessons In Life." My main reason was to redo the book, fix a few 'broken' things and add new material for its... Sign in to see full entry.

You Never Know When Inspiration Will Come
I had shut everything down about 7PM and was watching something when an idea came to me and I began to write some more. Three hours later, another 1700 words in my NaNo! While I'm at it, I sent out another tweet that explains my Twitter push campaign to bring more people to Blog-It. Sign in to see full entry.
Getting High(er)
The ol' NaNo has reached 36,000 words. I may begin to post this here once I get done. I know that it will need (a lot) of editing and a long check of story continuity, but it might go over well here. I'm going to try something over on Twitter. As you may have read somewhere on my blatherings, I... Sign in to see full entry.

Podcasting For Money
I found an interesting podcast. In fact, after I listened to the first chapter, I emailed my male Audible producer the link with the idea he look into something like this. You can just listen on a desktop/laptop but you have to download some software if you are using a cell phone or tablet. This... Sign in to see full entry.
The Results Are In
I had a sale on six of my favorite ebooks over the weekend and I'm well pleased with the results. I'm also amazed at which story sold the most. I expected it to be "Johnny Robot" or "The Totally Unnecessary Death of Amanda Dawn," which came in second and third respectively. Oddly enough, the run... Sign in to see full entry.

NaNo, NaNo (Tip of the Hat To Robin Williams)
I'm feeling better today than I was yesterday. Not sure what was happening or if I had hit the proverbial 'wall.' No cold symptoms, no particular aches or pains, I was just physically whipped. A three hour nap cured that I guess. I'm on the down side of my NaNo goal, posting up about 29,500 words to... Sign in to see full entry.

... And You Can't Make Me!
It's finally warming up some. I think I saw that the temp was about 34 and some of the snow is warming enough to begin to compact itself. What was light and fluffy ten inches yesterday is now a very dense five inches today. I don't think it's serious, but there is an old saying that "My git up and... Sign in to see full entry.

A Dog Has Gotta Play
We got another six inches of snow last night and the sky looks extremely pregnant with more. The upside of this day is that it has warmed up about twenty degrees and the wind has died down considerably. The dogs absolutely running around in the snow, which is a good thing considering where we live!... Sign in to see full entry.
