I needed a day off, and apparently yesterday was it. I never even finished posting the things I was going post here. The day was well spent thinking about how to finish two projects and taking a trip up to Grand Marias and meeting a new friend. Sometimes a day spent thinking accomplishes more than a... I spent the day playing with a new format for my ebooks... didn't work as I had hoped... so I fixed and redid a couple of those earlier screwed up files and sent them on up to Amazon. I did some writing in my Hemingway story. I need to get that going, but my brain has gone into a dead stall, so I... Sign in to see full entry.
I decided to just 'goof off' yesterday. I did do a considerable amount of writing later last night, some of which will make its way here very soon, but I have just posted a photo that astounded even me. Check it out here. It's been raining since about six PM last night, and it has continued all... Sign in to see full entry.

I swear, this has been one of the most frustrating days I've had in a long time. Phone call after phone call, two Skype calls, and three people here looking for something that they were told was for sale and was at my address to view. My address is 407 WEST Ave A. They wanted 407 EAST Ave. A.... Sign in to see full entry.

I can't help but tell you that this brought me to tears as I remember Judy singing this to our daughter back in 1976. I can hear her... Sign in to see full entry.
I slept in until 8:45 this morning, a rare accomplishment in a household with three dogs. The smallest one, Hannah, was cuddled in beside me, the middle dog Brutus, was on the bed at my feet, and Buster was on the rug that is beside my bed. I guess we all need some closeness now and again. It's been... Sign in to see full entry.

A busy, busy day. I found an interesting sales tool that I wrote about over in my 'Let's Write' blog area. I approved the audio for my latest Audible book this afternoon. It cost me $375 to have 'I Remember Judy - A Love Story' done. It is an eight hour audio book. I should be able to recoup most of... Sign in to see full entry.
I just published "Erosion Affects Daily Life" as an Amazon ebook. Thanks to everyone who helped me with this story! When I publish the anthology book that this story will ultimately become a part, I'll include you for your assistance. My eyes are getting a bit worse, and without jacking the font up... Eagle Eyes?
I need my 'eagle eyes' for the last entry of the story below. I'm going to submit this story to Kindle about noon, two PM tomorrow if no one says anything. This story will be 'Chapter Three' of my anthology book of "Ten Quirky & Scary Stories." Thanks! Sign in to see full entry.
Erosion Affects Everyday Life - Part Three
He’s Dead, Jim As the meat grinder began to spin at full speed, the men in the fancy suits pulled the dead man to a standing position. Once they had a firm grip on his, they fed his body headfirst into the machine. From my crouched position, I only got a brief look at his face, and I could tell that... Sign in to see full entry.
