This could and should go in one of several of my other blogs, but I need to get this where it will be read. This story was soul cleansing, and maybe what I needed to do get writing again. It starts out one way, but ends up with a totally unexpected ending. It wasn't until I was finished that I... Sign in to see full entry.
I've got some business to do outside today, but after this afternoon, it will be all about staying warm for a few days. Tomorrow's projected high will be about 7. The low, depending on who or when you listen, will be about -10. Yep. I made some progress on listening to the Audible stories I have in... Sign in to see full entry.

Hmmm. This came to me. I may use it as the opening to a short story. I find myself at a crossroads in my life, and for the first time, I think I'm afraid of where I am. Sign in to see full entry.
I know (at least I think I know) that no one here works for the Capital One credit card company, but I have to post this rare situation. I made a brief post about this happening late in January where some dirtbag had compromised my card to well over $500 over my credit limit. I don't know how he did... Sign in to see full entry.
It's supposed to get bitter cold here starting tomorrow for two days, but then warm back up to what has been the norm for this winter, temps in the high 20's and low 30's during the day, and in the low 20's and high teens at night. I think I irritated an acquaintance of mine early this morning. She asked if I had watch the 'Hollywood awards show' last night, and then took... Sign in to see full entry.

A thought: Hanlon's razor - Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity. Sign in to see full entry.
The day has zoomed by me quite fast so far. Part of it due to the endless number of phone calls and part of it because in answering a question to Corbin Dallas, I found the missing part of my intro of my book in progress. What I wrote in response to him was clumsy because I was on the phone with one... Sign in to see full entry.

I accidentally found the passion I needed to finish two short stories that have stared back at me for months. I was traveling and I kicked my Kindle on, meaning to listen to one Audible story, but ended up listening to one of my own. I intended to listen to a 'chick writen' murder story I was asked... It got down to -10 last night, but it has come up to a sweat-inducing -3 right now (9:15 AM) with an expected high of 17. I'm not sure how it happened, but I woke up to realize it was very cold in the house. First, I thought perhaps the pilot light on my furnace had gone out. Nope. Buster, my big...
