To my great surprise, my brother appears to be improving at a very rapid pace. His vent tube has been removed, and he is 'pinking up,' a drastic change from the 'pale face' he has been sporting for the last two years. My brother is doing better than expected. He's still on the ventilator, but his 'body color' has greatly improved. His labs are looking good, with his white blood cell count only mildly elevated. I finally got my driveway plowed! Ya baby! LOL. I've been parking over at the hospital some three blocks away and walking to and from the car when I needed to away.
